Letter to Buffalo Re: Steve Magaddino, was. PERSONAL HABITS AND PECULIARITIES Additional investigation should be conducted in the vicinity of subject's summer home as this could be used as a possible meeting place similar to Apalachin, New York. If information is developed that large groups have been seen at subject's summer home, you should develop informants in an effort to identify these individuals and purpose of these gatherings. Page 17 of referenced report reflects that subject was in attendance at the meeting held at Apalachin, New York. This information should be further developed. DESCRIPTION For future guidance under this subheading, a complete description should be set out, including such items as name and address of subject's family, past employment, criminal record, even though this information has been reported elsewhere in your report. GENERAL OBSERVATIONS It is noted on page 13 that subject's home was built in 1956. Consideration should be given to check the Office of the Building Inspector or other public department handling the issuance of building permits to ascertain whether plans of subject's home are on file and available for review. You should also determine, if possible, whether subject's home has been wired with any special electronic devices. It should be ascertained whether subject has a bank account and consideration should be given to conducting a review of his account in order to secure additional background information. The above suggestions and observations are submitted for your attention and future guidance in this program. The Bureau expects that the Top Hoodlum Program in your office will be given continuous top priority. [Review draft: check page references and worn letters against source before publication.]
