BU 92-61 On December 18, 1957, [REDACTED] advised he owned and operated a gambling establishment in Niagara Falls for a number of years but has had nothing to do with gambling since 1951. He stated that he knows the MAGADDINO brothers by reputation, and has known them for a number of years, but never had any dealings with them. He pointed out that [REDACTED], who is now deceased, operated a large gambling establishment [REDACTED] in Niagara Falls for a number of years, and his partner for a short time was a Niagara Falls man by the name of [REDACTED]. [REDACTED] stated he could furnish no information relative to the activities of either STEVE or ANTONIO MAGADDINO. On December 17, 1957, [REDACTED] advised he has been in Niagara Falls for a number of years and has known the MAGADDINOS by reputation during that time. The files of this office reflect that at one time [REDACTED] was closely associated with the MAGADDINO family, but during the past fifteen or twenty years, [REDACTED] have not had any contact with each other. [REDACTED] stated he is unable to furnish any information regarding the activities of either ANTONIO or STEVE MAGADDINO, and pointed out that he is doubtful whether he would relate this information even if he did know anything regarding their activities. [REDACTED] was cordial but pointed out that he has had no association or contact with the MAGADDINOS for over fifteen years, therefore, would not have any occasion to have any knowledge of their activities. On November 14, 1957, [REDACTED], who is known as a gambler in Niagara Falls, and formerly operated a gambling establishment [REDACTED], said he has known the MAGADDINOS by reputation for a number of years. He stated he has heard many rumors regarding the MAGADDINOS, but inasmuch as they are merely rumors, he did not care to repeat them. He pointed out that all the time he operated a gambling establishment [REDACTED] no one ever approached him in an effort to force him into giving them an interest in his game. He said he has no direct knowledge of any illegal activities in which the MAGADDINOS might be engaged. On December 18, 1957, CHARLES GORMAN, Director of Safety, Niagara Falls, New York, advised that he has known STEVE MAGADDINO by reputation for a number of years, and could furnish no information as to illegal activities in which he might be engaged.
