BU 92-61 [Continuation from page 17] LA DUCA were away from their homes on Sunday, November 10, 1957, and were away on November 11, 12, and 13, 1957. The informant is of the opinion that the subject returned to his home on the night of November 13, 1957, and the only way he can recall this is that he feels sure the subject returned to his residence on Danna Drive in the Town of Lewiston, New York, the night before the publicity appeared in the newspapers regarding the Apalachin meeting November 14, 1957. Informant is of the opinion that the subject was home on November 13, 1957, but the possibility exists that he did not come home until the evening of November 14, 1957. (He also pointed out that the subject and LA DUCA go away on short trips approximately twice monthly, and these trips usually last two or three days. He stated that neither the subject nor LA DUCA [REDACTED] going on these trips. The informant recalls that the entire MAGADDINO family, including [REDACTED] their families, went to Florida for the months of February and March of 1957. He did not know where they stayed while they were in Florida. He pointed out that the MAGADDINO family is very 'clannish' and the social functions which they have in their homes usually include just the members of the family. He stated that the subject usually leaves his home approximately 8:30 or 9:00 each morning, and does not return until 4:00 or 5:00 in the evening. He said the subject does not receive an unusual number of visitors and he did not know the names of any individuals that have visited with the subject during the past year. He also pointed out that the subject started building his home in May, 1956, and moved in in December, 1956. H. PERSONAL HABITS AND PECULIARITIES On December 6, 1957, [REDACTED], County Clerk's Office, Niagara Falls, New York, advised the records of that office reflect that on January 23, 1947, a gun permit was issued to STEVE MAGADDINO, which authorized him to carry a gun. The number of this permit is 2450. She stated this permit was renewed on October 19, 1949, and is good until revoked. She further advised that the records reflect the subject has a permit to carry a Smith and Wesson .32 caliber pistol number 24196. [Printed report page 13]
