BU 92-61 — G COVER PAGE. Continuation of PASQUALE 'PATSY' NATARELLI's background: the report described him as a principal suspect in the gangland killing of LYMAN MILLER, who was shot on Buffalo streets in the early 1950s. This is a report of investigative suspicion, not a finding of guilt. [REDACTED] advised that police records regarded NATARELLI as a well-known Buffalo hoodlum, formerly close to JOE DI CARLO, and that in 1956 he was considered an associate of FREDDY RANDACCIO. According to New York State Parole Office information, in 1949 NATARELLI was a salesman for [REDACTED] American Flag Company, Chippewa Street, Buffalo. He was arrested January 30, 1951, in Rochester on a charge of common gambling involving lottery tickets, sentenced to three months at Monroe County Penitentiary, and fined $500. A 1951 FBI interview concerning interstate transportation of lottery tickets recorded his claim that he owned a cleaning and tailoring business at 241 Vermont Avenue, Buffalo. Police searched his automobile and reportedly found approximately 1,300 Treasury Balance Lottery tickets, leading to his arrest. On May 13, 1959, [REDACTED] stated that their department did not believe all Buffalo numbers operations were controlled by one group or syndicate. The account continues on the following page.
