On April 17 and April 21, 1958, T-4, who has not furnished any information in the past but is believed to be reliable, furnished the following information:
[REDACTED] He was born and reared [REDACTED]. Informant stated he has wondered about the operations of Vin James Builders, Inc., inasmuch as they do not appear to have a great deal of equipment, and although he gets around the City of Buffalo, New York, a great deal, he has failed to see any of their trucks in and around the city of Buffalo.
[REDACTED] is of the opinion that CAMILLERI has a great deal of influence among the hoodlum element in the West side of Buffalo. The informant further pointed out that an individual by the name [REDACTED] Laborers Union in Buffalo, New York, at the present time and although he was unable to furnish any specific information regarding the association between CAMILLERI and [REDACTED], the informant is of the opinion that they are fairly well acquainted with each other.
[REDACTED] advised that a woman by the name of [REDACTED] works in the office of Vin James Builders, Inc., and he is of the opinion that [REDACTED] is a police officer of the Buffalo, New York Police Department.
The informant further stated that he is not acquainted with PETER A. MAGADDINO but does know the subject by sight and knows the subject has a great deal of influence among the gambling element in Buffalo, New York. He said that in his opinion the subject controls the numbers and policy rackets in Buffalo, New York, and VITO MONTANO, who died recently, was one of the men who worked directly for the subject. The informant said he had nothing specific upon which to base his estimate, but in his opinion the numbers written in Buffalo approximate $3,000 daily. The informant further stated he was unable to furnish any specific information regarding the activities of the subject in Buffalo, New York, but he knows the subject does have considerable influence among the hoodlum element in Buffalo and is directly associated with the numbers and policy rackets in Buffalo.
