[Continuation from previous page:] have indicated there might have been foul play insofar as the disappearance of [REDACTED] is concerned but no information has ever been developed regarding [REDACTED] disappearance.
On April 17, 1958, [REDACTED] the building at 428 Connecticut Avenue, Buffalo, New York, advised that he has rented office space to Vin James Builders, Inc., at the above address for the past two years. He said the firm pays him $50 per month and he rents the office space to two men whose names he did not know. He stated he seldom sees these individuals in the office but each time he goes to the office there is a young girl who is apparently there for the purpose of taking telephone calls.
He was unable to furnish any information regarding the extent of the business of Vin James Builders, Inc., the quantity of equipment which they had or the number of employees they employed. [REDACTED] appeared reluctant to furnish any information regarding the Vin James business or to furnish information regarding the identity of the individuals to whom he rented office space to this firm.
On April 10, 1958, T-5, who has furnished reliable information in the past and is familiar with general activities in the area where Vin James Builders, Inc., is located, was unable to furnish any information regarding the Vin James Builders, Inc. company.
On April 10, 1958, [REDACTED] advised he had never heard of Vin James Builders, Inc., and advised he could furnish no information regarding the identity of the individuals who owned and operated that firm.
On April 10, 1958, [REDACTED] who owns and operates a store [REDACTED] stated he has operated this store at this address for the past several years and the office space of Vin James Builders, Inc., is located at 428 Connecticut Avenue, but he was unable to furnish any information regarding the general activities of that firm. He said that two men seem to be the owners of the firm, one who drives a Chrysler and the other a red late model Cadillac, but he was unable to furnish the names of those individuals. He said there is always a girl in the office but other than that, he was unable to furnish any information as to the type of equipment [continues on next page].
