[REDACTED] further advised that STEVE, ANTHONY, and PETER MAGADDINO, all of whom reside in Niagara Falls, New York, are [REDACTED]. He explained this by stating that CARMELA MAGADDINO BONVENTRE, [REDACTED] was the sister to the fathers of STEVE, ANTHONY, and PETER MAGADDINO. ANTHONY MAGADDINO is the subject's brother and PETER MAGADDINO is the subject's cousin.
ASSOCIATES
On May 12, 1958, [REDACTED], Niagara Falls, Ontario, Canada, Police Department, advised that he has known PETER WALTERS by reputation for a number of years. He stated he knows PETER WALTERS to be a “gambler” and he further stated that he has heard rumors to the effect that PETER WALTERS would have been at the meeting at Apalachin, New York, on November 14, 1957, had he not been ill at that time.
[REDACTED] stated he has also heard rumors to the effect that PETER WALTERS has a great deal of influence over the hoodlum and gambling element in the vicinity of Niagara Falls, Ontario, and Toronto, Ontario, but he was unable to furnish any specific information regarding the tie-in of PETER WALTERS with the gambling element in that section of Toronto, Ontario.
He further advised that he has heard of the subject by reputation but he could furnish no information as to whether PETER WALTERS is an associate of the subject or whether there is any connection between PETER WALTERS and the subject.
On June 3, 1958, [REDACTED] was recontacted, at which time he advised that he had been unable to obtain any additional information regarding PETER WALTERS and his association, if any, with the subject in this case.
