On January 13, 1958, the following information regarding PETER J. MAGADDINO was obtained from the County Clerk's Office at Lockport, New York:
He resides at 2494 Independence Avenue, Niagara Falls, New York, and on September 18, 1956, his application for a gun permit was approved and is good until revoked. PETER J. MAGADDINO presently has a valid gun permit, #5617, which permits him to carry a weapon. The records of this office reflect that PETER J. MAGADDINO is 50 years of age, was born in Italy, is a United States citizen, and is described as 5'8", 195 lbs., gray hair, and brown eyes. At the time he applied for a gun permit, the following individuals signed his permit as character references:
